Anders Carlson here!

I am a United States Navy Veteran and a Mortgage Loan Officer with Vision Mortgage Group in Taylors, South Carolina. After graduating high school, I joined the Navy and served eight years on active duty as an aviation electrician before transitioning to the reserves. About a year ago, my family and I relocated to the Upstate of South Carolina from Northwest Washington to begin a new chapter.

I joined the military because of my deep love for America. I felt a responsibility to give back to a country that had given me so much. I wanted to do my small part to help ensure that my family, my children, and future generations would continue to enjoy the freedoms and opportunities that make our nation so special. While my active-duty service has come to an end, that sense of duty remains. Today, my mission is focused on serving my family, my church, my community, and helping build a stronger future for those around me.

Professionally, I am proud to be launching the South Carolina branch of Vision Mortgage Group. What I love most about my career is the opportunity to impact lives every day. I get to build relationships, educate families, help people navigate one of the largest financial decisions they’ll ever make, and assist them in building generational wealth through homeownership. I also value working for a company founded on Christian principles where I can openly live out my faith and values while serving others with integrity.

Why am I a Patriot?

Patriotism is rooted in my love for God, family, and country. My military service taught me the importance of sacrifice, responsibility, and protecting the freedoms we often take for granted. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that preserving liberty starts at the local level—in our homes, churches, communities, and schools. My duty today is to invest in those areas and help create a better future for my family and community.

My faith is the foundation of everything I do. I am an active member of Christ the King Church in Greenville, and I am forever grateful to the Lord for transforming my life. My wife, Brianna, and I have been married for four years and are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Eden and Marigold. My greatest goal is to raise God-fearing children, serve my community faithfully, and continue making a positive impact wherever God places me.
